Coconut Slice

 This Coconut Slice is Gluten Free and made with organic produce where possible.

 

Ingredients:
½ cup coconut oil
½ cup organic cacao powder
½ cup Honey
2 tsp’s Vanilla extract
Couple of dashes of himalayan salt
1 1/3 cup of shredded coconut – organic
Handful of raw organic macadamia nuts (smashed into small pieces)
Handful of raw organic pecans (broken into smaller pieces)
Method

Add all ingredients except shredded coconut to a saucepan and gently melt until all ingredients are liquid, then use a whisk or fork to stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed.

Add shredded coconut to the mixture and combine.

Line a slice tin with baking paper and pour into the tin and spread out mixture evenly

Place the coconut slice into the freezer straight away for 30 minutes until firm; you can eat these straight away if you can’t resist  or pop them into the fridge to stay chilled until you’re ready to serve them
