Tapioca can easily be used in a variety of baked goods including, muffins, cakes, pancakes and puddings and can also be used as a thickening agent when combined into yummy soups, sauces, gravies and pie fillings.
When used as a thickener, tapioca becomes a clear, glossy gel (adding the perfect sheen to your dish), which offers a neutral taste that won’t compete with the other flavours within the recipe itself.
It can also be used as a sweetener when combined into yummy breads made with rice flour and millet flour or can even be used as a substitute for other thickening agents.
